What happened in June…

This past month…..I

Was a foster parent, for a week, while the parents went to the PEP.

Learned some good lessons about mixing alcohol…(heh)

Learned how to play a pirate game, which was great fun(Thanks Ryan.)

Started running semi faithfully, again(major victory.)

Got my haircut(let’s just say its a change.)

Found out that the Keys of Flexibility really can help you bend without breaking

Had a refresher course on taking changes as a professional.

Realized how much I love each and every person in My home(including Mike, who somehow managed to avoid being in this picture.)

Everything is going well in the foster parenting world, so I won’t bore you with all the details. Devin is fine, and is looking forward to seeing his mommy and daddy tomorrow. Here’s a couple pictures for those who are emotionally attached…heh..

Day–2

Devin was a good little boy and slept straight through the night last night. Of course he did kick me a few times in the ribs, but other then that it was a rather uneventful night.

Lets see, he did his memory work, had wordtime, and even helped put away groceries today, such a good poochy.

We had a swell time having water play, and freeze dancing.

Being A Foster Parent–Day 1

Well ,the parents left today to attend some meetings, so I am officially Devin’s foster Mom for a whole week. Leaving Devin is really hard for his parents, since they’ve never left him before, so I’m going to be keeping a log of sorts so they can visit my site and see how he’s doing.

So this is day one. So far so good.

Don’t worry, Linda, I promise to take good care of him. Have an awesome time, and don’t worry about a thing.

Wel, I’ve been here in Mx, for a few days now….Working, spending time with friends, catching up on some stuff I’ve been behind on. All and all it’s been swell. Only thing is, I ran on the beach a couple days ago and somehow seem to have thrown my back out, not super fun. I’m guessing running on the slanted beach put too much pressure on one side of my body. I’ve run this beach quite a bit before but, lately one of my hamstrings has been acting up so maybe it wasn’t good for it,Oh well, you live and learn.

Went out for drinks and chips the other night, twas swell. Had a tasty BBQ last night. Been eating lots of chili and mango super yummmy.

I’ve been getting really intense migraines for about two weeks now, pretty much daily, so if you feel like shooting up a prayer for me I’d sure appreciate it.
