I can count a million times
People asking me how I
Can praise You with all that I’ve gone through
The question just amazes me
Can circumstances possibly
Change who I forever am in You
Maybe since my life was changed
Long before these rainy days
It’s never really ever crossed my mind
To turn my back on you, oh Lord
My only shelter from the storm
But instead I draw closer through these times
So I pray
Bring me joy, bring me peace
Bring the chance to be free
Bring me anything that brings You glory
And I know there’ll be days
When this life brings me pain
But if that’s what it takes to praise You
Jesus, bring the rain
I am Yours regardless of
The dark clouds that may loom above
Because You are much greater than my pain
You who made a way for me
By suffering Your destiny
So tell me what’s a little rain

I’m praying for you. I know that Jesus is bringing you rain right now,
but I also know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that He has
a rainbow for you just around the corner.

Whats up?

A wave of sickness is sweeping my home. I have yet to catch it. I’m thinking it’s cause I’ve been eating about 10 oranges a day, but I could be wrong.
I am now certified to perform CPR.
I got to visit my sister and some extended family last weekend. Lots of fun.
Connie Daycare. Aren’t they the cutest?
Steve and Linda and my baby left today *sniff* come back soon!

I’ve put off commenting on Mikes B-day post, because nothing I carefully calculated was worthy of his beautiful mind.
I’m still stuck - but I didn’t want to be tardy AND lame.
Darn.
Just always remember who christened you GOB and who TRULY knows the damaging effects of the sun’s ray’s being hidden, and who has loudly proclaimed her admiration of you for the length of many moons, and who has continued to do so, even though it brought on pointedly scornful comments from the GOB himself, in an attempt to pull out ulterior motives for my unabashed homage. But my persistence shall prove my validity!
And I solemnly swear to wax the floors of your heavenly mansion from thus to thither.
So let it be written - so let it be done.

Happy Anniversary to me :)

I’ve been here four years now. Today marks the anniversary of when Mike picked me up at the airport. Thanks everyone for putting up with me. Last year I did a post with lots of pictures from past years, but this year I’m going to do things in fours, since it’s my 4th anniversary.
